Heart-shaped padlocks or lockets were a way to lock away a loved one's memory, and many Victorian styles were designed with engravings suggesting remembrance and love.
The beautiful Cáiwia Native American Stamped Cuff is a vintage sterling silver charm bracelet that has unusual links i.e. flat and curved oval links. It closes with a heart shaped padlock style fastener, that is slightly thicker than usual. It is very well hallmarked for Birmingham 1963 as can be seen on the back of the heart and also on one link of the bracelet along with a little lion passant stamp on the rest of the links. The lion passant is the English sterling silver guarantee mark. It measures approx. 7 3/4" x 3/8" and weighs 22g. It is in excellent condition and just waiting to be worn again.
